20 years ago, Paul joined us and plays a key role in our support team as one of our Maintenance and Operations Support Technicians of which holds a variety of roles in setting and maintaining our machines, running our lead maker, training our skilled operatives and inspection. He always does his job with a smile on his face, cracking jokes to lighten the days at Electroparts.
When we asked Paul what he loves about his job the most he said ‘the various jobs my position holds, from setting and maintenance to helping people out and if a job is difficult to do but ends in great results’.
His wife, Kat is also one of our highly skilled and very diverse IPC Skilled Team Technicians and they have been married now for 16 years.
His go-to productivity tip is that when you are set on a job always have the clock/timer on and do your best to work towards the time you want to get that particular job done in.
Fun facts about Paul are that he is a lay preacher who leads services in various churches, a train enthusiast, follow Liverpool FC, likes walking and is a big fan of the 70’s cop show, The Sweeney!
Paul’s favourite memory of his time with us so far is meeting his wife and new friends.
“20 years, I have seen a few changes over this time, my job has changed over the years from Production worker to Inspector, then a change to setting machines and maintenance also being a IPC Instructor for PCB. If I could pass on a message to a new starter, it would be to always be honest with staff and with your work”
