Paul & Kat
Kat is one of our highly skilled and very diverse IPC Skilled Team Technicians with an ability to work on cable and wiring assemblies, box build and PCB projects.
She is a key part of the Blue skilled team, helping them to keep quality and productivity high and always with a smile on her face.
She has worked with us in total for 13 years from 2006, with a 6 year break from us whilst she had her 2 girls and got them to school. Paul is in his 20th year with us at Eletroparts. Kat did 5 years in the beginning and left for a while to have their two girls and then came back in 2017. She is now in her 8th year back! Adding all their worked years together has a grand total of 33 years (Just less than the 35 years we have been operating!)
Paul plays a key role in our support team as one of our Maintenance and Operations Support Technicians of which holds a variety of roles in setting and maintaining our machines, running our lead maker, training our skilled operatives and inspection. He always does his job with a smile on his face, cracking jokes to lighten the days at Electroparts
Our support team are here to make sure everything is ready and in place with the work coming through for our Electrical Technicians and support our teams with training and guidance. Making sure quality is adhered to is a critical part of the job role along with making sure the parts go out to our customers right first time.

Paul and Kat have been together for 19 years, 15 years married. Their two girls are now 11 and 13. They like working at the same place, but having completely different roles means that they hardly work with each other. They do enjoy working together when their paths cross as it’s a chance for a little laugh. Although if you ask Paul he would say he mostly likes the sandwiches and snacks made for him by Kat and sharing their lunchtime together!
His go-to productivity tip is that when you are set on a job always have the clock/timer on and do your best to work towards the time you want to get that particular job done in.
When asked for one word that describes working here, Paul said ‘Skilled’ and Kat answered ‘Interesting’. Skilled job and interesting due to the different styles of jobs and people.
When we asked Paul what he loves about his job the most he said ‘the various jobs my position holds, from setting and maintenance to helping people out and if a job is difficult to do but ends in great results’. His favourite memory is meeting his wife and new friends and Kat on a similar theme of making friends that can last outside of work.
When we asked Kat what she loves most about her job, she said ‘one minute you could be soldering then you could be crimping, then in the PCB area the next, I’m never doing the same thing!’
Kats go-to productivity tip is to ‘always listen to your colleagues, they can help you out and show you things you’re unsure of’.
A fun fact about Kat that most people wouldn’t know is she loves a game of bingo & pride and prejudice is her favourite book!
Fun facts about Paul are that he is a lay preacher who leads services in various churches, a train enthusiast, follow Liverpool FC, likes walking and is a big fan of the 70’s cop show, The Sweeney.
