Our Customer came to visit and discuss their requirement to outsource their box build assemblies, as they were struggling to make the volume of boxes required in-house. They went through their drawing and specifications with our Projects team. Once Projects had a full understanding of the requirements they quoted and won the order.
Our customer supplied most of the components, we then assembled the PCB board, tested it, built it into the supplied metal work and packaged it ready for our valued customer. We delivered the finished product and then they supplied it to their installation engineers and distribution network.
There was an initial problem with the delayed metalwork and so the pressure was on to turn the order around as quickly as possible to keep the delivery dates in sight. Our Engineering team set up a dedicated cell for production that enabled us to utilise capacity to expedite the contract through the workshop and get them out in time.
The customer is now very happy, as they don’t have any production staff only installation engineers. Using a sub-contract turnkey supplier allows them to keep their engineers out on the road installing while we assemble their product.
